The launch of sensory ranges

Over the years, L’Occitane en Provence has created new beauty products containing fabulous properties derived from plants.

Oud & Rose: for the very first time, the brand has indulged in an olfactory journey to the heart of the Orient, with its subtle blend of rose de Grasse and oud wood. An enchanting mix, symbolising the union of two birth-places of high-end perfumery.

Pivoine Sublime: a symbol of beauty, peony continues to reveal its stunning qualities. This year, the L’Occitane laboratory has uncovered how this flower of a thousand petals offers perfecting properties for the skin, much to the delight of those who revel in fresh and natural beauty.

Cédrat: from the island of Corsica, a citrus fragrance that is part of a new masculine range that combines freshness and tone. A compelling icon for discerning men who like invigorating aromas, as well as for those of the fairer sex who are drawn to a discreetly woody, natural and elegant perfume trail.

Creating invaluable partnerships

Because the L’Occitane brand knows how to work with the right people, its cosmetic creations are built around winning partnerships

The Pierre Hermé & L’Occitane partnership: the friendship of two enthusiasts has produced an unusual collection, which combines the olfactory qualities of one, with the taste prowess of the other. As two people who love Corsica, Olivier Baussan and Pierre Hermé have created unmistakable fragrances. Perfect as an unexpected gift for the lady in your life during the Christmas period!

Organisation of responsible producers: from the heart of the Luberon to far-off lands such as Burkina Faso, L’Occitane works with responsible producers. In 2015, women from 10 African provinces harvested 750 tonnes of shea butter, while 20 producers in Provence picked more than 500 kg of cherry blossoms by hand.

Continuation of charitable commitments

L’Occitane's committed approach also extends into many countries through socially responsible partnerships.

Supporting women's leadership in Burkina Faso: on International Women's Day, the brand sold a fund-raising product in its stores. In March 2015, the sale of a gentle balm raised 127,000 euros, helping to fund an NGO project in support of female entrepreneurship.

Rebuilding the Japan of tomorrow: as part of the reconstruction of areas that were affected by the 2011 tsunami, in the April of this year, L’Occitane invited 4 Japanese entrepreneurs to discover the art of Provençal markets.

The fight against blindness: by raising greater awareness of visual impairment among the general public, the brand is committed to public interest initiatives. This year, more than 2 million people afflicted with preventable blindness have been afforded access to treatment.
